Another silly LoK comic. Because you can never draw just one.
Yep. Drawin’ silly LoK comics at one in the morning, don’t mind me…
The Misfortune High Kickstarter has just cracked its last milestone before the big goal of $3000. THAT’S AMAZING. The latest milestone sketch is of Sonia desperately trying to touch her toes. Running a Kickstarter is kind of like that. The toes are right in front of you. You’re almost there. You can almost taste the toes (but don’t)! Just…a….little….further!
Also, by popular demand, Add-Ons are now available so you can add little extra doodads and sketches to your order that your the existing rewards tiers don’t cover. Here’s the price list:
Price List (Limit 10 on all items except where otherwise posted)
- Misfortune High Book 1 $5
- MH Post Card Set $9
- MH Exclusive Dragon Print $5
- Sonia Sculpt $40
- Valkyrie Squadron Book 1 $7
- Valkyrie Squadron Book 1-3 Set $18
- Valkyrie Squadron Charm $10

- Digital Commission $50
If you’ve already pledged, just add on the extra money and send a message with what you’re ordering so I can record for my special requests list. If you haven’t pledged, just add on the extra price to your pledge and send a message with your requested items. Same deal, different buttons.
So, I drew this some time ago, and I was going to wait until those characters were introduced to release it but eh…what the heck? Have some Demon Days A.K.A.
And remember, A.K.A. resumes updates OCTOBER 7TH! See you then!
Sometimes, you just gotta draw a Demon Days parody featuring characters from your webcomic.
The Misfortune High Kickstarter is LIVE! Go, make a pledge, watch the videos. Nearly a year of posting on Tumblr has brought us to this point!
The pitch: Biscuit is a privileged kid from the fanciest magic school in town. After he is found with cheating paraphernalia, he is expelled, and as punishment his father sends to a magic school on the bad side of town. Book 1 captures the opening of Biscuit’s story, as well as introduces a whole host of colorful characters from the other side of the train tracks. It’s a magic story with laughs, fun, dragonballs, and heart.
The Princess who saved herself makes a triumphant return in November, with the Encore Edition, a re-release of the original four issues Princeless mini-series!
And this time about, issue 1 will only be 99 cents. That’s a full sized paper comic for 99 cents! You can see the first adventure of Adrienne Ashe for less than the price of a soda.
And then, December, January, and February you’ll get to read issues 2, 3, and 4 for $2.99 each! Less than we could afford to sell them for when they first came out.
Finally, it will culminate in the March release of the Princeless Volume 1 Trade Paperback AT FULL SIZE for the FIRST TIME! So, you can finally get that beautiful out of print book in a size that matches your volume 2 trade paperback! And if you didn’t get that one the first time out, it will be back in March too! And as if that weren’t enough, it’s all leading to next years back to back releases of volumes 3 and 4. If you’re keeping track, that means there will be new Princeless on the shelves every month from November 2013 to the end of 2014!
Princeless is back!
